Welcome to Marching Bandits! This is the place for the best damn band stories in the land, from a girl in the best damn band in the land! (sorry... couldn't help slip in our band motto...^_^) Here we want fun little stories that have happened to you to be shared with us. Whether from marching band, concert band, football games, *shudder* band camp... or contests, we want to hear! Whether your in the color guard/dance team/dazzlers/the people with batons (i'm so sorry! I can't remember what your called! please tell me!), drum major, section leader, director or even an average bandit (^^) we want to know!

2007-06-11 [Kailynn]: I new that I"d love it...I wanted to be in since I was little....^^..and got to start in the 3rd grade (with the recorded) and at the end of 5th grade got my insturment..although at that time I was forced to play the sax..but I switched over to clarinet and self taught myself the flute..and then got to switch to it..and I'm not going back to playing any of the other ones soon..^^..

2007-06-11 [Raesha]: well, i loved concert band, but in order to stay in concert in high school you had to join marching band. it practically killed me...

2007-06-11 [Kailynn]: Well..I"m going into my junior year...so I"ve been through my Sophy and Fressy years..and my Sophy year was a lot better..^^..

2007-06-11 [Kailynn]: yeah!!..I'm really excited about it!!...WE have a 007 theme this year!!..and I get to march with the piccolo!!

2007-06-11 [Kailynn]: their a lot easier to hold than the flute...the flute gets heavy haveing to hold it parallel to the ground...^^...

2007-06-11 [Kailynn]: Yeah..but it does hurt..and when you do a slide (don't remember which way..but it's one of them) it feels like half of you just went numb..it hurts really badly..and it doens't with the piccolo..plus you can hear the piccolo...^^..
